Online Flower Delivery

Online flower delivery has become the most popular way to order flowers. They allow you to choose from a large catalogue that often has colorful pictures and care instruction. Many of these retailers can send the flowers directly to a third party, the recipient of the gift, removing a lot of the hassle associated with sending flowers.

Most online flower deliver places work in similar ways. Some are actual brick and mortar flower shops that take orders online, prepare the flowers and then deliver the plants themselves. This allows for same-day delivery, just in case an important date was forgotten about until the last minute. It is easier to work with local shops, they are only a phone call away, and plants are assured to be fresh and in season.

Another type of online flower delivery is through order brokers. Order brokers have a Web site online that the flowers are chosen from, but they do not ever handle any flower. They contact the supplier of the flowers when an order is made. They find florists that can deliver to the area and arrange for purchase and delivery of the plants. Often a wire and delivery fee is added to the price. Courier delivery sends flowers strait from the farm or garden to the buyer or florist. Often flowers from couriers need further work before being displayed.
